Our Policies
Due to several issues with no shows and multiple reschedules we have put a new policy into effect that we have reviewed multiple times and feel we are being as fair as possible. Please understand when you read over the policies that we are only in season 6 months out of the year and our boat rentals are a primary source of our revenues.
Boat Rental Policies
Please note that all reservations must be booked 24 hours prior to intended rental date.
Must be 18 years old AND have a boaters education card to operate a boat OR be born before January 1, 1984. Boaters safety course certificate must be presented at time of arrival if necessary.
Pontoon Cancellation Policy:
- 14+ days prior to reservation: $50 cancellation fee.
- 13-4 days prior to reservation: $75 cancellation fee.
$150 will be charged for a cancellation less than 3 days prior to intended rental date. FULL charge of rental if cancelled the day of.
A refund will be issued ONLY if hazardous conditions occur. Such as lightning, tornadoes and etc. Rain or other non-favorable conditions do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Sea-Doo Cancellation Policy:
- 14+ days prior to reservation: $40 fee.
- 13-4 days prior to reservation: 50% of rental rate.
75% of rental rate will be charged for a cancellation less than 3 days prior to intended rental date. FULL charge of rental if cancelled the day of.
A refund/cancellation will be issued ONLY if hazardous conditions or rain occur. Other non-favorable conditions do not constitute grounds for a refund. This refund policy is only for the Sea-Doo.
*Gas is NOT included in rental price. Boats are sent out with a full tank and will be refilled at the renters expense when returned.
Boats may pull a tube with the an additional $50. We provide the tube, but the $50 is to cover added wear and tear as well as additional insurance on the boat. No costs for popped tubes or damaged ropes.
We do not allow cancellations for rain or unfavorable weather. A refund/cancellation will only be issued in cases of severe weather events due to safety issues.
Renters are responsible for the vessel and all equipment. Renter will be charged for any and all damages (including lost items) occurred during the time of rental.
A late return fee of $75 will be charged per hour if renter keeps rental out past promised return time.
The day of the reservation: Cancellation or no shows will be responsible and charged from the full price of the reservation.
On ALL DAY rentals or morning rentals if you haven’t arrived by 10am or called to advise us you are running late, the boat will become available for re-rental and you will be charged.
